Tens of thousands of Southern California residents are under mandatory evacuation.
Less than a day after a wildfire sparked in Ventura County, the blaze has scorched over 45,500 acres.
The fire has spread quickly due to continued gusts from Santa Winds.
Known as the Thomas Fire, the brush fire has destroyed at least 150 structures.
Fire officials added that 27,000 residents in Ventura County are also under mandatory evacuation.
