Wildfires Continue To Burn Near Los Angeles

In the mountains north of Los Angeles and near California’s Central Coast wildfires continue to rage, threatening a wildlife sanctuary and 2,000 homes. Firefighters continue to battle the blazes amid triple-digit temperatures, wind, and humidity. A smoke advisory is in effect for parts of Los Angeles County, San Gabriel Valley and San Fernando Valley. Approximately 300 miles up the coast in the Big Sur region firefighters are battling a roughly 3 square-mile fire.
